About the Department
With the vision and leadership of our highly qualified faculty, the Department of Urology at Wayne State University has developed into one of the nation’s leading providers of urological care offering expertise in all facets of urology.
WSU Urology faculty provide services at four major outpatient clinic sites including Dearborn, Detroit, Farmington Hills, and Southfield. The main clinic, located in Dearborn, Michigan, offers both general and subspecialty urology treatment. Multidisciplinary urological cancer treatment is provided at the clinics at the Karmanos Cancer Institute in Detroit and Farmington Hills. The Southfield clinic specializes in female urology in collaboration with WSU Ob/Gyn Department. WSU Urology Faculty provide inpatient services and consultations at the Karmanos Cancer Institute, Oakwood Hospital and Medical Center, and the hospitals of the Detroit Medical Center.
